Take the Epworth Sleepiness Test

Complete the one minute questionnaire below which will indicate the likelihood of the disorder.

The Epworth Sleepiness Scale below is recognised as a good preliminary indicator of the level of daytime sleepiness.

How likely are you to doze off or fall asleep in the following situations?
Sitting and reading
Watching TV
Sitting inactive in a public place
Being a passenger in a vehicle for an hour or more
Lying down in the afternoon
Sitting and talking with someone
Sitting quietly after lunch (no alcohol)
Stopped for a few minutes in traffic while driving

A score of 10 or above is an indication that you should consider a home screening or overnight sleep study. Depending on the results, see your doctor and discuss if you need treatment for OSA or some other disorder
